Psychology
Welcome to the Psychology Department! As one of the largest majors in the College of Arts and Sciences, we’re very proud of the achievements of our students and faculty, and welcome you to our website.
Psychology is the science that examines human behavior and development across and within contexts. We use experiments, case studies, large scale surveys, and even animal models to explore the cognitive, emotional, individual, and social functioning of human beings. The study of psychology offers a unique perspective for anyone seeking deeper understanding of internal and interpersonal dynamics, and is also a useful addition to any disciplinary study or career path.
