Dave Satterwhite is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience in a variety of settings. He specializes in the treatment of trauma, addictive disorders, grief and anxiety. Dave is passionate about innovations in the fields of addiction and trauma treatment, particularly harm reduction and EMDR. He is also interested and educated in Jungian psychology, having worked with many clients seeking this particular therapeutic lens.
Research Interests
The efficacy of EMDR in treatment of trauma and addictions; harm reduction; investigating the role of social support systems on trauma and addiction recovery; the influence of technology on brain development.
