Illinois Board of Higher Education awards competitive GEER grant to Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University
The Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) has awarded Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University a $456,286 grant to help target equity in its recruitment and retention efforts. This federal CARES Act funding is one of nine Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund competitive grants totaling $3 million that IBHE has awarded to public colleges and universities.

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University a five-year, $3 million Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program grant that will help the University increase the number of students who complete STEM majors.
