Thank you for supporting the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is the largest college at NEIU with more than 30 programs. We pride ourselves on being an incredible student-centric office and do our best to break down barriers for NEIU students. The CAS is thoughtful about how we spend donations and our decisions are guided by NEIU’s values of Integrity, Excellence, Access to Opportunity, Diversity, Community and Empowerment Through Learning. We appreciate any contributions that help us to advocate for and support our hard-working students.

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Unrestricted Fund
An unrestricted donation will allow the CAS to fund urgent needs and opportunities as they arise and offers the CAS the most flexibility in supporting students. A donation to the Unrestricted Fund allows us to address a wide variety of needs for students in the CAS.
The College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Scholars Program (CUSP)
We view undergraduate research as a hallmark student experience in the College of Arts and Sciences.
CUSP was created to fund undergraduate research projects for our students. The importance of engagement with research and other creative activities is well-documented as students are able to network, build their resumes, engage in high-impact practices and build community with other scholars. Involvement in such projects/activities helps students acquire necessary skills to be competitive applicants and to make meaningful contributions to the workforce and/or their graduate studies.
Your donation will help us provide more research opportunities to students, opportunities that energize students and transform the undergraduate learning experience.
Black Ensemble Theater Partnership Fund
One way the CAS supports our students and fulfills our mission as a regional comprehensive university is by joining forces with community partners who share our values. The world-renowned Black Ensemble Theater, whose mission is to eradicate racism through the arts, is one such partner who works with our campus to improve student lives and to impact our broader community. Your donation will help us to strengthen our existing relationship and offer more opportunities to students.
