ŷ����Ϸ���� Illinois University announces the 23rd season of its Jewel Box Series. The eight-concert series begins Sept. 30 and runs Fridays at 7:30 p.m. throughout the academic year.

Research lead by ŷ����Ϸ���� Illinois University Assistant Professor of Biology Beth Reinke provides first comprehensive evidence that turtles in the wild age slowly and have long lifespans, shows highly variable rates of aging across reptiles and amphibians, and identifies several species that essentially do not age.

ŷ����Ϸ���� Illinois University has entered into a formal partnership with Hope Chicago, a nonprofit organization seeking to reduce economic and social inequity by funding postsecondary scholarships and non-tuition costs for Chicago Public Schools graduates and their adult family members eager to return to school and update their skills.

Ensemble Español, in residence at ŷ����Ϸ���� Illinois University, will host “Flamenco Passion” June 17-19 featuring their popular live dance and music performances to cap the company’s 46th American Spanish Dance & Music Festival, which runs June 8-14.
