Fall is definitely in the air. Just like the change in seasons, wonderful changes are happening at Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University! This week, the University named a new Vice President for Enrollment Management. There are also a lot of events to celebrate the season and Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month. Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University announced that beginning next year, Juneteenth will be officially observed as a University holiday. Members of NEIU also participated in the Say Their Names project, the University is part of the White House COVID-19 College Vaccine Challenge, and NEIU for You is still accepting applicants. The Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University Foundation will host its 49th annual Chuck Kane Scholarship Golf Event next week! Plus, Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø has expanded its master’s concentrations and added a graduate certificate in School Health. Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø Illinois University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program will now offer two concentrations—Public Health Promotion and School Health—beginning Fall 2021. Additionally, Å·²©ÓÎÏ·¹ÙÍø’s Master of Social Work program added a specialization in School Social Work and the Master of Business Administration program added seven concentrations: General Business, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Global/International Business, Information Technology and Public Health.
